ASAL, the Algerian Space Agency, is a national organization that develops space activities in Algeria. For the ASAL-funded Satellite Development Center, 31.849 m2 covered construction area, infrastructure, landscaping, orbital road and application project are also included. The Satellite Development Center has 2 divisions; Section A includes a total closed construction area of 23.618 m2, administrative and technical units. Integration and test building, administrative building and conference center, geodesy unit, geomatics unit, a remote sensing unit, UDS unit, access control building, all infrastructure and road works and landscaping are located in this section. Section B covers a total closed construction area of 8.231 m2 consisting of 4 blocks with 40 flats, villa lodging, sports facilities and sports fields.
